- Cleanliness of properties. Make sure your tenants know exactly what is expected of them upon check-out. This should be visible to them in the home. Ask cleaners to report issues immediately to you or the renting office.
- Ants - You should have a seasonal contract for pest control.
- Air Conditioning is not cold enough. Check filters regularly and have a maintenance contract.
- Clothes Line - Many guests this year wanted a place that they could hang their wet towels and bathing suits.
- Front End Washers - These usually require HE (High Efficiency) detergent. This must be clearly marked on the front of your washing machine.
- TV - This year our local cable company went digital. Most homes are equipped with digital boxes; however there are a few that still only receive a fraction of our channels.
- Trash Cans - Not enough. You should have 1 trash can (30-32 gal.) for every 2 people. Recycle cans should be half that amount.
- 2011 RATES - Guests are ready to book and confirm for next year already. We need these rates in order to accommodate the guests' request and insure a positive gain for you next year.
- Security Deposit - Out policy states that security can be held for up to 30 days. We usually release these 2 weeks after check-out unless we hear from you.
- Determining next year's rate - We usually suggest a $25-$50 increase to keep up with your home's expenses.
