Suzanne moved to Cape May full time in 2002 after spending summers here since she was a child. She retired early from a management position at Verizon and began a second career in sales at HomeStead Real Estate late in 2002.
Suzanne's business experience has been in customer service development, process improvement and project management. She received her certification in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington DC. These skills helped her quickly become one of the top producing agents in Cape May.
Suzanne's sales philosophy is based on superior customer service, her in depth knowledge of the real estate market and her attention to detail. She also has built positive relationships with lenders, title companies, insurance companies, contractors and others related to the real estate business and considers them part of her "team". This combination of skills and contacts helps make the sales she handles move smoothly through the process with minimal issues.
For buyers, Suzanne believes that her job is to educate and familiarize them with the area so that when they make a decision to buy, they purchase the best home for their wants and needs. For sellers, she focuses on helping set the proper price to have homes sell quickly to qualified buyers. She does this through thorough, formal research of our home market as well as her past experience.
To increase her skills to help her clients, Suzanne has received her GRI degree, which is Graduate, Realtor Institute. This formal real estate training is taken by less than 10% of realtors. It was a commitment of classes one day a week for a year.
Suzanne and her husband Bill live in Cape May with their two German Shepherds, Ty and Raven. Bill has his real estate license also and is Suzanne's assistant when needed. Both are very active in the community with groups such as Kiwanis and local politics. They love Cape May and its residents and work to maintain its popularity and uniqueness as the nation's first seashore community.
